Party at the Cabin

Actually, we ended up “managing” it longer than expected, as the water was too rough on Sunday to take the boat across the bay, so we missed our ferry and had to stay an extra night at the cabin.  By the time we all left, I’m sure Cyndy was quite ready to have her cabin back.

One of the highlights of the weekend was when we had everybody together for a fresh-caught seafood dinner, complete with brownies and cake for dessert.

The kids know they can always rope Uncle Larry into a story or three.

It was a really fun 2 night sleepover in Seldovia – The rain and storm were actually exciting and bit of extra unexpected fun – Cyndy was a trouper to deal with the 6 guests for an extra night – Thank You again Cyndy – We really enjoyed meeting and spending time with Jens aunt and uncle – Uncle Larry and I had a chance to discuss the economy and the engery business which I thoroughly enjoyed after being away from work several days – Seldovia was more remote than we had anticipated and we will always remember our special time there- Alaska is truly the last frontier – Grandpa

I will always remember this special time of getting better acquainted with Cyndy and enjoying her hospitality. Such an amazing place to share with such special people. Just sorry Jim couldn’t be with us.

About Me

Hi. I'm Amy. I started this website in 2005 as a place to deposit my journal and photos. It has gone through a few incarnations and masquerades as a family site, but since I'm the only one who contributes to it, it's really all about ME, ME, ME.
