Some Beach Pics
One of the fun things about the beach is that it’s different each time we go. For instance, the driftwood scattered at the high-tide line is never the same. On this trip, Kaelin found a large tree that had a branch sticking out. The branch bounced up and down when she sat on it, so she decided to turn it into a horse. Both kids got a lot of entertainment out of it.

Wet
Today is a good day for an over-sized sweatshirt and a book. Or maybe an over-sized sweatshirt and a lot of computer work, which is more in line with what I have going on.
So far, it has rained 17 days this month. We’ve had twice the average precipitation in inches, and the month isn’t even over yet. It has been raining steadily all morning and doesn’t show signs of stopping any time soon. Normally I would be jogging while the kids are in school, but since that’s not going to happen today, I figure it’s a good time to get caught up on some photos and blogging, n’est pas?

Starfish
This was a gift from Grandmommy, and when it came in the mail it was the size of Kaelin’s hand. After a week of sitting in the water, it was as big as her head.

Doggie Chow
Sometimes you just have to pretend to be a dog.
Apparently.
