Let’s Roll!

For her birthday, we gave Kaelin some roller skates.  She loves them and is quickly becoming very good.  By the time we went down the street and back, she could already maneuver around by herself.

She has also found them very useful for running over ants.  However, when she’s rolling along, she finds it difficult to pick up every snail and every doodle bug she passes, so she calls out apologies to them before swinging back around to pick them up.  I tried to convince her that the snails don’t really mind if you pass them… but clearly I don’t know what I’m talking about.
