A while ago I whittled down my list of blogs because I was having a hard time keeping up.  But now I find myself looking at my feed reader and seeing “Your reading list has no unread items” too frequently.  I NEED MORE BLOGS TO READ!

This is where you come in.

Those of you who read blogs other than this one, could you please take a minute to comment with links to a couple of your favorites?  Particularly writers who you find funny, entertaining, inspiring, etc – and who you don’t have to know personally to be interested in their lives.  Also, writers who post more than once a month.

I could start going through everybody’s blogroll to find the good ones but talk about time consuming.  I’d much rather hear your recommendations.

  1. I have a few on my list that I just LOVE that regularly make me laugh…
Check out the following on my list:
    Big Mama
Baby Bangs (that’s Beth Moore’s daughter and she is quite lovely)
    It Coulda Been Worse
There are lots more that I frequent (that’s what I do when I’m feeding/pumping all day everyday.  I know you understand!) but these are my must check!
    Hope you have fun!

  2. Debra says: is a great book review sight (I know that sounds terribly stimulating, but it really is) is an awesome blog on Biblical Womanhood.
That’s all I can think of off the top of my head.

  3. Ann says:

Let’s see… my current favorite is—she’s hilarious and has cooking and photography sections of her site, to boot.
I also love—if I’m laughing hysterically at a blog, Trevor knows it’s usually this one.  She also posts over at The Mom Moment at Redbook, so you can add that one to your feed, too. is a great ad-hoc parenting site.  I just love her.
If you don’t already read, you should, and the same goes for
Oh, and how could I forget  I’ve gotten some amazing recipes there, and the photography is stunning, too.

Can you tell I spend waaay too much time on teh intarwebs?

About Me

Hi. I'm Amy. I started this website in 2005 as a place to deposit my journal and photos. It has gone through a few incarnations and masquerades as a family site, but since I'm the only one who contributes to it, it's really all about ME, ME, ME.
